This policy explains what information KHOJO Pakistan (“KHOJO”, “we”) handles when you use khojo.com.pk.
Information we collect
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, topic, optional page URL and message you submit. We use it only to read and answer your message and to correct or improve KHOJO.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting records technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time. This is used for security, troubleshooting and capacity planning.
- Calculators. KHOJO calculators, prayer-time tables and the Hijri converter run in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to us. The palm-reading entertainment tool analyses the photo you choose inside your browser and does not upload it.
- Browser storage. Some features store a preference on your own device, for example your chosen Quran translation. You can clear this in your browser settings.
- Accounts. Public visitors do not need an account. Cookies used for editor or administrator sign-in are strictly necessary and used only for that purpose.
Analytics and advertising
If we enable analytics (for example Google Analytics) or advertising (for example Google AdSense), those providers may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure usage and to show and measure ads. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. Where required by law we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies.
Third-party data sources
KHOJO retrieves exchange rates, weather, fuel prices and similar public data on its servers from third-party sources. Your browser does not contact those sources on your behalf, so they do not receive your IP address from KHOJO. Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ own policies.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (such as hosting and email delivery), where the law requires it, or to protect the site and its users.
Retention and security
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections. We use reasonable technical measures to protect the site, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
KHOJO is a general-audience information site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you sent us by using the Contact page.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
